I just read this again … it is so very good… It opens the Bible to me in a way I’ve never heard for one thing.

And the message is so very relevant! Thanks again!

I always learn from your Substack articles. For "Waiting for the Guarantee Before We Move," I kept coming back to two sentences in it that I didn't understand. "At the same time, the brain does not generate direction primarily through thinking. It generates it through engagement - through stepping into something and discovering what happens next." I didn't understand this about our brains, so I asked google if this was true, and it is: "Scientific research supports the idea that the brain's sense of direction is primarily generated through engagement with the environment rather than abstract thinking alone. While conscious "thinking" or goal-setting occurs in the prefrontal cortex, the actual map of direction is built and maintained through physical movement and sensory interaction."

We all lack certainty about will happen next in our lives. We don't know what the future holds, but we trust that whatever happens, we are in God's Hands, God loves us, and we are saved by grace.

Thank you, Pastor Ed! You keep teaching me through your writings, and I am so thankful for you.
